Our process allows us to accurately assign prospects and customers to branches without the compromise of trade area boundaries.

The process of assigning customers and prospects to branches can be quite a challenge. We have developed a proprietary method that will allow any prospect or customer to be assigned to the nearest location. This process will allow us to manage the distribution of prospects based on distance, and not trade areas. Additionally, this process will allow for new sites to go online immediately upon opening and be included in direct marketing efforts.

This methodology assigns all available prospects to the nearest location via lat/long append. The benefit is that there are no “territorial claims” that capture prospects disproportionately.

This methodology is proven to be more accurate than radii, which can have the effect of cannibalizing locations, and preventing new locations from receiving prospect opportunities. Additionally, custom trade areas based on customer thresholds, while excellent for assembling demographics and strategic opportunities, can limit the effectiveness of new locations, as all trade areas would have to be recreated each time a new store front is opened.
