Challenge

Like many businesses, Blu faced the challenge of growing its B2B portfolio with limited resources. We knew that we had a unique set of skills, particularly in data analytics, that could help companies make smarter decisions, enhance their customer engagement, and ultimately grow their bottom lines. Targeted Client Selection: Using data analytics, we built a highly focused list of 40 businesses located within a 200-mile radius that fit our ideal client profile. These businesses were selected based on factors such as industry, size, and their need for data-driven solutions.

Client Fit: Each business on the list was strategically chosen because we knew our services could drive measurable value. Whether through better data management, customer segmentation, or more impactful marketing strategies, we knew we could deliver results.

2. Crafting the Campaign Message

Creative Hook: We knew the key to success was crafting a compelling, targeted message. We launched a campaign with the theme: “Tired of not gaining any traction from your customer data?”

High Impact, Low Cost: To demand the attention of our targets, we created a unique and memorable “high impact” piece. We hand delivered a 10” x 10” hunk of a steal belted radial tire with a tag attached asking the question, “Are you tired of spinning your wheels trying to leverage your customer data?”

3. Strategic Delivery

Hand-Delivered Touchpoints: Our campaign was designed to break through the noise. After a series of personalized letters and follow-up calls, the high-impact tires were hand-delivered to the key decision-makers at each targeted business.

Personal Engagement: The human touch of hand-delivering the tire created a memorable and engaging experience for potential clients, allowing us to stand out from the competition.

Results

The effort paid off in spades. Out of the 40 businesses we targeted, we successfully converted 8 new B2B accounts with a total campaign investment of just under $23,500. These initial clients have generated over $7.5 million in revenue to date, and we continue to see returns from the campaign years later.
